Gardiner Street Primary School has been incredibly lucky to have been chosen to take part in The City Connects Programme.

Gardiner Street Primary School is renowned as a hub of music.
Under the guidance of the talented Ms. Caty Cleary, our musicians have the opportunity to play violin, banjo, accordian and tin whistle. We are immensely proud of our esteemed orchestra.
Our wonderful choir is led by Ms. Maura Geragthy. Children have opportunities to perform throughout the year. A highlight is always our Nativity concert in the magnificent St. Francis Xavier Church next door to the school.
We are proud of our tradition of Irish and set dancing here in Gardiner Street Primary School. Thanks to our former principal, Ms.Eileen O'Doherty for bringing this to the school.
Our Advanced Orchestra performed at Córfhéile in Tallaght Stadium. Take a look at the amazing performances from our students. Gardiner Street Primary School boasts a well stocked library which makes the perfect setting for our Book Club.
Children learn to connect body and mind during these worthwhile sessions.
Spending time with and caring for animals promotes empathy and responsibility in our students.
This after-school club is a hit with many of our children who enjoy learning new skills with Hugh.
Children learn bravery and resilience from their coach Jack.
Thanks to City Connects, our budding gymnasts get a chance to flex their skills in these classes.

Gardiner Street Primary School has a long-standing tradition of film making and involvement in the Fís Film Project.
We are proud to announce that last year's film, "St.Brigid" was shortlisted for an award at the Fís Film Awards.
The children and teachers involved attended the awards ceremony in The Helix on the 21st of February 2024 and enjoyed a wonderful day out.
